Declutter with the Canadian Diabetes Association

With an upcoming move in 2018 decluttering is a top priority in our home. Decluttering has its benefits. It provides clarity, gets rid of extra stress and helps you focus. When decluttering I always team up with The Canadian Diabetes Association. Diabetes holds a special place in my heart as I have had two wonderful grandparents who have suffered from this illness. When you donate it directly benefits the 11 million Canadians living with diabetes and pre diabetes while at the same time diverting waste from landfill sites in Canada.

Over the past week I have worked room by room and here are some of the things we found to donate:

  • Sheets, comforters, blankets
  • Coffee mugs, bowls, toddler drinking cups
  • Hand towels, face cloths, bath towels
  • Clothes
  • Television and DVD player
  • Children’s toys

The Canadian Diabetes Association has local drop boxes and free home pick-up.

Check out their website for more information on what items can be donated, where your local drop boxes are and how to get your free home pick-up!

Happy Decluttering!
