Summer Favourites

Not thirsty? You will be after this. Nothing pairs perfectly when you’re at the beach or at a backyard party than a delicious and refreshing cooler or cider. With so many options out there I decided to narrow down a few of my favourites.

Georgian Bay Vodka Smash

Georgian Bay Spirit Co. has created the best premixed cocktail to ever hit the LCBO shelves hands down. It is infused with the citrus taste of grapefruit, lemons and limes. Mint is also added and it compliments the tart citrus flavour perfectly. When you see these at the LCBO consider it your lucky day because these babies keep selling out.

Stiegl Radler

Radlers have become very popular this summer. It seems like every brewery is coming up with their own version. Although I have tried a few different ones I keep going back to the Stiegl Grapefruit Radler. It doesn’t have the overwhelming sugary grapefruit flavour that some of it’s competitors has. It is simply refreshing.

Palm Bay Key Lime Cherry

Palm Bay’s are a summer staple to have in your fridge. Key Lime Cherry is my go to. It has the tart flavour from the limes with the sweet sugary flavour of the cherries.

Somersby Pear Cider

Fruity, crisp and clean. A different twist on the classic apple cider. This refreshing cider is made from fermented pear juice and natural pear flavour. No artificial flavours or colourings are used.

Dusty Boots Hard Orange Cream

A different take on the popular hard root beer, this drink is like a way back play back. Way back to the days when your grandparents used to make you those delicious orange floats. Remember those? I do. Let’s just say this is the better, adult version.
