Mint Chocolate Fudge Cupcakes

Mint and chocolate is the best combination. Whether it is ice cream, cheesecake, brownies or cupcakes, it is always guaranteed to be delicious!

What you need:

  • Betty Crocker Super Moist Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
  • Betty Crocker Whipped Vanilla Frosting
  • (3) eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • Mint flavouring
  • Green food colouring
  • Wilton #22 Decorating Tip and piping bag
  • Sprinkles of your choice
  • Cupcake liners



  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Combine cake mix, oil, water and eggs
  • Mix vigorously for two minutes
  • Line cupcake pan with cupcake liners and add 1/4 cup of completed cake mix to each
  • Bake for 19 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
  • Prepare icing while cupcakes are cooling
  • Mix entire frosting with one teaspoon of mint flavouring
  • Add six drops of green food colouring or until you get a shade of green you are happy with
  • Mix until smooth
  • Fill piping bag with icing and apply to cooled cupcakes
  • Finish it up by adding your favourite sprinkles
